On November 4, at the 2025 Industrial Culture Development Conference in Shanghai, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Industrial Culture Development Center awarded Meitu a certificate recognizing it as one of the “Innovative AI Industry Use Cases.” Based on six evaluation dimensions—application scenario, technological strength, market potential, user experience, social value, and risk control—Meitu’s innovative practices in AI productivity tools were selected as an exemplary case.

The 2025 Government Work Report calls for continuously advancing the “AI+” initiative, integrating digital technologies with China’s advantages in manufacturing and market scale. In line with this, the State Council recently issued “Opinions on Deepening the ‘AI+’ Action”, identifying technology, industry, consumption, livelihood, governance, and global cooperation as key areas for implementation.

In 2025, Meitu’s AI productivity tools continued to expand into core high-frequency verticals, including e-commerce design, talking video production, and commercial photography, effectively bridging the “last mile” between AI models and real-world applications. Products such as DesignKit, Kaipai, RoboNeo, WHEE, and Kumoo offer lightweight, low-barrier tools that precisely match user needs. These solutions enable SMEs and individual creators to adopt AI more easily, signaling a shift from “generic-purpose functions” to “scenario-oriented solutions.”

Industry analysts following Meitu note that, as AI increasingly empowers the real economy, Meitu’s suite of AI productivity tools has already boarded the “AI+” express. With intelligent demand accelerating across multiple sectors, Meitu’s continued investment in productivity-focused scenarios is expected to generate even greater value.
