To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League united with the Meitu App to jointly launch celebration activities, including "I am a party member" themed photos and an anniversary-related profile picture feature. During the activity, users were able to generate their party member images and customize their own exclusive party member profile picture to express their loyalty and best wishes.

In the "I am a party member" activity, the party emblems on the shared photos served to remind and encourage users to draw strength from the Party. By uploading photos of themselves and selecting a scenario and manifesto, users were able to create their own party member images.

Anniversary-related exclusive profile pictures


The Meitu App also launched its anniversary-related profile picture creation activity. During the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the representatives of the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers announced their manifestos, which were a solemn answer to history and an earnest promise for the future. At the beginning of 2020, as the pandemic broke out, Meitu quickly responded by launching a themed activity called "Building the Anti-Pandemic Force" and releasing the "Cheer for Wuhan" topic on the Meitu App and Meipai to encourage and strengthen the public's resolve. Netizens from all over the country joined the topic to cheer on the people of Wuhan, while at the same time anti-pandemic information from verified media sources were placed at key spots in the app. As of April 7, 2020, over 70,000 pieces of content supporting the topic had been uploaded by users and the number of page views had reached 88.03 million.


For the special call-to-action activity "Help each other and move forward together", Meitu united with the China Guanghua Foundation to launch the #Energy Graffiti T-Shirt Campaign,  aiming to cheer on the young people in Hubei who had been infected by the virus, encouraging them to be brave while wishing them a speedy recovery. The activity reached 760,000 topic views in the Meitu App community, and a total of 30,582 works were published, attracting the attention of people from all walks of life.


In addition to that, on 2020's Youth Day, Meitu's core apps, the Meitu App and Meipai, launched a themed activity called "Stick to my dreams". Users participated with great enthusiasm in support of manifesting the growth and responsibility of the young generation. The activity was viewed 1.769 million times, and the total number of likes on videos from the activity reached 21,884.
