July 14 – Meitu Inc. officially launched Roboneo, its new AI agent that focuses on the imaging sector, covering scenarios such as commercial-grade retouching, brand design, e-commerce material/marketing video/website creation, and effect previews. It primarily targets photo editing users, content creators, designers, e-commerce sellers, and social media operators.

The product manager for RoboNeo stated that the product is committed to "unleashing imaging productivity with conversation-style commands." Currently, both the mobile and desktop versions of RoboNeo are live. Following this, the AI Agent will be integrated into additional Meitu Inc. products to enhance synergy across various offerings.

Galaxy Securities forecasts that China's AI Agent market size will surge to 852 billion RMB by 2028, with a compound annual growth rate of 72.7%. According to industry experts, competition within the present AI Agent market is heating up, with strong technical abilities and successful scenario execution being the critical deciding elements.
