Meitu has placed in the Top 100 Chinese Internet Companies in Comprehensive Strength for 6 years running


On November 2nd, the China Internet Enterprises Comprehensive Strength Index (2022) Conference and 100 Enterprises Summit Forum was held, and the Internet Society of China officially released the index and unveiled the list of the top 100 enterprises.

According to the organizer, the top 100 enterprises are selected according to their comprehensive strength, business growth, innovation capacity, growth potential and influence, hoping to objectively and fairly showcase the strength and competitiveness of Chinese Internet enterprises. The list is a topic of considerable attention for government departments, institutions and experts in the sector. It is also an important reference for studying the development of Chinese Internet enterprises.

Meitu’s revenue in the first half of 2022 increased by 20.5% year-over-year to RMB 971.2 million. The adjusted net profit attributable to the owners of the parent company was RMB 36 million, a year-over-year increase of 7.9%, achieving its fifth consecutive period of semi-annual adjusted net profit. Its Monthly Active Users (“MAU”) grew to 240.9 million in June 2022, 4.5% higher than that of December 2021.

In 2022, Meitu introduced Wink, Meitu Mac Version, Meitu Design Studio, Meitu AI Photo Editing and Meitu ID Photo, further expanding its business and service scope. Its SaaS related business has proved solid help to the digital transformation of the real economy.

Meitu is accelerating product innovation by investing in R&D. According to the statement in the financial report, its R&D expenses increased by 2.3% year-over-year, reaching RMB 265.5 million.
