Meitu's "Women In Charge Program" in Jinzhai County: A technology company and its social responsibility

Under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the All-China Women's Federation, Meitu brought its "Women In Charge Program" to Jinzhai County in Anhui Province and made a donation during the ceremony held in Tiechong Township under Jinzhai County.

Yang Xiaoyan, Deputy Secretary of the Jinzhai County Party Committee, Zheng Shenqun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the County Women's Federation, Zhang Jie, Secretary of the Party Branch of Beijing Home Meitu Technology Co., Ltd., and student representatives also participated in the donation ceremony. Lin Hui, chairman of the People's Congress of Tiechong Township and chairman of the Women's Federation, presided over the donation ceremony.

Meitu made a donation during the ceremony and Mr. Zheng Shenqun presented Meitu a medal in thanks for its support of opportunities for women of all ages.

Meitu's "Women In Charge Program" is a project to provide life and academic assistance to women and children in need. Specifically, Meitu provided RMB 100,000 in total funding and 4,800 books exploring the challenges women face in today's society.

At the ceremony, Mrs. Yang Xiaoyan extended a warm welcome to Meitu. She said the donation demonstrated Meitu's interest in women's progress and practical support for the development of education in less developed areas.

Zhang Jie of Meitu said the company will take advantage of its brand influence to further the advancement of women and children's education in Jinzhai County.

Statistics show Meitu has approximately 241 million monthly active users, 80% of which are female. Meitu has always been in touch with the goals and dreams of its dedicated users.

In addition to providing assistance to the local women and young students, Meitu will continue its work in Jinzhai County with the ultimate goals of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
